Terms of Service
Last updated · June 30, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Reuniverse at reuniverse.ai (the "Service"), operated by its founder ("Reuniverse", "we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What Reuniverse is
Reuniverse is a local-first, founder-supervised AI workspace for planning and building ventures. The substance of your work and your API keys stay on your device (see our Privacy Policy). The Service is a tool: you are responsible for what you create, ship, and do with it.
2. Your account
Accounts are optional and power syncing and certain features. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy of the information you provide, and you must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
3. Bring-your-own-key and third-party providers
When you connect your own API keys (for AI, social posting, analytics, repositories, and similar services), you are responsible for complying with those providers' terms, for your own usage and costs, and for the content you generate. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for them.
4. The managed AI tier
The operator may, at its sole discretion, approve your account to use AI on the operator's own provider key, subject to a per-day usage limit. This is a courtesy that may be limited, suspended, or revoked at any time, with or without notice. You must not abuse it, attempt to exceed or circumvent its limits, resell or share access, or use it for unlawful, harmful, or high-volume automated abuse. The managed tier runs on the operator's own paid API key with the AI provider; it is not, and must not be used as, a way to circumvent any provider's subscription or licensing terms.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Reuniverse to break the law, infringe others' rights, distribute malware, send spam, harass anyone, or do anything that violates the terms of providers you connect (such as social platforms or AI providers). Do not attempt to access data or systems you are not authorized to access.
6. Your content and intellectual property
You own the ventures, ideas, code, and content you create with Reuniverse, and you are solely responsible for them; we claim no ownership over them. The Reuniverse software, name, and site are owned by the operator, and these Terms do not grant you any rights to them beyond using the Service.
7. AI output
AI-generated output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying it before relying on it or shipping it. Reuniverse does not guarantee any particular outcome.
8. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. The operator's total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or US$50.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold the operator harmless from any claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or any third-party rights.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
